Dr. Heidari is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University and based in Evanston, IL, U.S. His work focuses on developing systems engineering solutions that accelerate the transition toward sustainable industrial and energy systems, critical materials, and digital infrastructure. His research integrates engineering experiments, process systems engineering, techno-economic analysis (TEA), life-cycle assessment (LCA), and decision analytics to design low-carbon, resource-efficient technologies for industry, energy, and society.
