SYSTEMS ENGINEERING FOR

A Sustainable and Resilient Future

Mohammadreza Heidari

Dr. Mohammadreza Heidari is an Assistant Professor (Research Faculty) at Northwestern University studying how emerging technologies and infrastructure can scale sustainably and resiliently. He develops integrated decision frameworks that combine engineering performance, environmental and resource impacts, economics and markets, and policy and governance to determine when, where, and how technologies should scale. He applies this systems approach to AI and data-center infrastructure, large energy loads, and circular and low-carbon industrial systems.
